There is known problem with Internet Explorer 8 messing up printing from Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. What happens is that the right margin on the page is increased to about 4-5cm, which cuts of the right hand edge of the text.
Carbonite worked for 3 days, backed up files OK then stopped at 28% of initial backup.
This issue has now been escalated to 2nd line and I am awaiting a response.
In the meantime, if you have a problem with Carbonite installing then it is worth looking at the logs it creates which can be found at the following location (in Windows XP)
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Carbonite\Carbonite Backup
NB: you need to show hidden files, because the Application Data folder is hidden.

Network Cabling.Although wireless networking is easier and cheaper to set up, it is not suitable for many office or warehouses simply because it is too slow. Wireless speed for an encrypted 802.11g network is theoretically 54Mbps but can often drop to a tenth of this speed in the room next door to the access point. This is fine for surfing the Web, but not good for running business applications across a network (such as Sage Line 50 software or Mamut) or for exchanging large files.
CAT 5e cable guarantees a connection of 1000Mbps (1Gbps) for each PC connected to the network. Your accounting software will speed up, files will transfer almost instantly and even your internet access may get quicker, since many internet connections are now over 10Mbps.
Usually this involves installing a small cabinet at a central point, which contains a patch panel and network switch. All the network cables connect to this cabinet. The other end of each cable is fastened to the wall and terminated with an RJ45 socket near a desk. This wiring can be used for computer networking and telephones. So ideally, your internal telephone exchange should also be connected in to the cabinet. This gives flexibilty - when a user moves desk, you can just re-patch his/her telephone and computer network link to a nearby RJ45 Socket.
